Bio
Vive e lavora a Milano.

Bio
Alessandro Capozzo is a multimedia artist and interaction designer. With a background in the humanities, after studies in music and musicology, he explored the aesthetics and poetics of digital media for almost thirty years. Dedicated in the beginning to electronic music and then moving on to generative art and software art, his work interpreted code as an expressive form and idiomatic language for the digital medium. In this context, in his custom made software, he intertwined the layering of minimal signs with automatically generated or modified semantic and narrative elements. Traces of this can be found at abstract-codex.net. In contrast, in the recent works, which we begin to collect here, all texts are original and written by the author and become the driving element of each new project.
Parallel to his artistic activity, A.C. has mainly pursued an intense professional career: starting out as a freelancer and later becoming a partner in the multidisciplinary studio Limiteazero, known for its innovative museum projects, multimedia exhibitions and interactive installations conceived and realised over the last twenty-five years.
For over fifteen years, A.C. has taught creative coding and multimedia design in various schools and institutions including the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan and the Santagiulia Academy in Brescia.
He lives and works in Milan.
